Lifelines are the most overlooked part of most boats.  We depend on them to keep us onboard, but hardly anyone pays much attention to the condition of them until one breaks.  Just like standing rigging, they have a useful lifespan and should be replaced after about ten years.  Don’t wait for them to break!
